He was in a wheelchair. He was intubated and the seizures were controlled with midazolam and he was then transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU). On examination his blood pressure (BP) was 220/110 mm Hg, and his heart rate was 120 beats per min. He was given labetalol and his blood pressure lowered.
